Whether he was innocent or not, there was never any real substantial evidence that could prove his guilt, so the verdict of not guilty had to be given. Was surprised he didn't get done for "giving alcohol to a minor" though
Saying all that, but do you think if Michael Jackson wasnt a celebrity, and they found out he has "slept in the same bed as a child", and gave them alcohol, that person would be free?
No, I dpn't, they'd probably be sent down - but thats the american justice system for you. At the end of the day if there's no concrete evidence he should be innocent, that should apply to both famous and other people.

Well imo he probably is a paedophile, whether its because he's not all there or because he's just a sicko I don't know but I doubt he'll go near many kids again in the same way, he probably knows inside he's been let off.

yesterday my friend from torino arrived, and the first thing he heard about in america (first time coming here) was "michal jackson - not guilty" since they announced the verdict just as he was getting in the car.
:groan: My dad called this right before the trial even started. Celebrities don't get convicted of substantial stuff. Even Martha Stewart got off on appeal.
Not everything is a conspiracy. Just as you can say he is a sicko and probably did it, you can say he is an easy target and the kids parents probably spotted a pay day.
Fact is hes been found innocent and none of us have much right to judge him. Unless you have personally been molested by MJ of course. End of story.
As my friend who works in the L.A. D.A.'s office has always said:
"'Not guilty' does not mean 'innocent'".
Don't totally flub that distinction, as many here seem to be doing.
And with that, I'll leave you with my favorite picture of Michael Jackson -- computer-projected from his time in the Jackson 5 as he should have looked like today...
Michaels attorney said that Michael is going to now have alifestyle change. He is no longer going to allow young boys to sleep in his bed as this will make Michael an easy target for future accusations.
Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiggggghhhhhhht.
Why not just say:
"I am no longer going to stick my ***** in young boys, as this might make me a target for people who think it is wrong for adults to sexually abuse children. It is truly a shame that I must live in a world where I am prevented from doing the things I love."
