From sportmediaset:

MIGUEL Luis Pinto VELOSO
Squadra: Sporting Lisbona
Nazionalità: portoghese
Status: comunitario
Data di nascita: 11-5-1986
Valutazione: 10 mln
Ingaggio attuale: 0,4 mln
Figlio d'arte, ha un padre che giocava nel Benfica, società da cui è fuggito a 14 anni per affermarsi nello Sporting, adesso piace molto alla Juventus e anche alla Fiorentina.

I wish we can sign him.

veloso looks real quality, would be a massive coup if we get him. has a rather tasty free-kick as well

yes, he would be a great buy but I don't see him coming to us and all that article says is that we like him, well which club doesn't. IMO it's kinda stating the obvious

He's such a good player. I really hope he makes it on the first-team for the Euro. If Juve signs him he'll be a really good signing, he's very versatile.

I bet ManU has first option on him.
They probably do, though with Anderson, Carrick, Hargreaves, Scholes and Fletcher around, they're pretty much covered in that department.

not to mention they spent, over 70M Euro's on the first three, i doubt they'd want to spend another 12 to 18M on another central midfielder.

MILAN, Fighting against Juve for Veloso

    Source: TUTTOSPORT

There is not only Milan to track Miguel Veloso (22), even Juventus would observing Sporting player, that would be considered the alternative to the first two targets for bianconero midfield: Aquilani and Xabi Alonso. The club would be ready to trade in the base of 15 million euros, but could consider the insert in the trade of Tiago.

i'd want to see veloso at arsenal, but wenger won't splash that kind of cash so i'd say bring him. he's got excellent technique and a good left foot, and he can take freekicks as well. let him stand over the freekicks with del p......righty and a lefty.

Sometimes he cares too much about fashion on the pitch, rather than performance as Sporting fans will tell you.

Pfft, good player but if that's the case then no. Our fag quota is already full, we'll have to sell Palladino and Tiago first.
