Well, if we're throwing around unlikely names here, than I suggest the Mexican keeper, Oswaldo Sanchez. He'd be cheap, good and wouldnt mind sitting on the bench when Gigi recoveres. Has great reflexes.

But on a more serious note, Austin Ejide, ESS Tunis, very good, and won't mind being a 'sparing' partner when Gigi recovers

TBH, I don't really think we need a new goalkeeper, It's not worth it, Tho Chimenti can't 50% of Gigi's work, I'm quite sure he'll do what he's asked for.

I think that Gigi is so great that there are only few who can do 50% of Gigi`s work

Cesar isn't bad, But Still I don't think It's worthy to Spend some cash on a keeper that won't stand long with us.
we can't count on Chimenti.he always makes alot of mistakes.

He'd be more than an adequate sub. He's the leading keeper for Mexico's NT and the undisputed starter for Chivas of Guadelajara in the Mexican League. He does have his flaws -- I've seen him lack vision in goal and commit to the wrong point of play. But he would be a great sub.

That said, I can't see him being cheap at all. And I don't see Chivas selling him off -- he's very popular with the club (one of the most popular clubs in all of Mexico).

(Gotta say, though, it is a little weird seeing ex-Lazio striker Claudio Lopez playing in the Mexican League now.)

By the sounds of it Julio Cesar is going to be a first choice at Inter(pending his drug alligations) so a Toldo loan deal - included in the Miccoli/Zalayeta-> Zanetti swap might be possible????

I would still rather have Matteo Guardalben, thats if Pelizzoli has signed for Palermo?

Gigi better not aggravate his shoulder while doing Alena Seredova. :(
Ahh, but who could blame him? :D

I do like your Storari suggestion. He's very much underrated, a solid keeper, and I don't know where his future lies with Messina's current chaos.

Main issue I see is that we haven't even bothered to test him in the Coppa or any friendlies yet, at least to my knowledge. And that's pretty green for a Serie A starter for a club the size of Juve.
