    Yes, we just can't forget the homeland! I guess that among the Italian-Americans I have known 85% have been Juve fans. For me Juventus is a symbol of Italy, and I think that is why the bianconeri are so popular in the USA. Just one man's opinion.

    Oh, and I still say that Javier Ernesto Chevanton has been Serie A's best player so far. Show some guts and pick a player who does not play for one of the giants.

    Juve's best player in 2003/04? Tough call, but I vote for Zambrotta. He has only scored once, and the defensive gives up too many goals, but where we would be without him? Del Piero has scored 10 goals is 16 matches (in all competitions), making for an incredible strike rate, but ADP just has not been our main man, yet.

    A dire il vero mi sembra che i telecronisti nostrani se la cavino piuttosto bene in quanto a professionalità. Basta sentire Thierry Roland et Jean-Michel Larqué, i due telecronisti della televisione francese, per capirlo : quando li ascolti ti sembra di essere su "Scherzi a parte". Chiamano i giocatori francesi col loro nome ("Vas-y Thierry! Allez Marcel!") mentre i giocatori dell'altra squadra manco li cagano, e poi bestemmiano contro l'arbitro ogni 2 minuti. Sono i peggiori di tutti in assoluto.

    I telecronisti più seri sono probablilmente gli inglesi, però i nostri Pizzul e Cerqueti in fondo non sfigurano..

    I didn't know that DP had played as little as 16 games. 10 goals in that amount of outings is amazing! Keep up the good work Ale.

    "discussioni come questa"? Perché che c'è di male a discutere dei vari modi di commentare una partita a seconda del paese di cui si parla? Ho semplicemente detto che i telecronisti francesi sono sciovinisti all'estremo mentre quelli italiani ed inglesi sono più professionali. Se non ti va hai solo da non leggere.

    So che questa discussione non `e un grande problema, ma `e un 'rischio', `e off-topic ed `e in Italiano e non in Inglese.

    Hai raggione...loro stanno a un altro livello!! Da ricovero i Francese. Inglesi: e vero hanno una mentalita freddo (come sempre: non cambia nulla) pero: da dormire! In Italia..depende perche devo dire che certi sono anche anti-Juve.

    Ah well, we were just trying to establish how italian commentators are following their professional code of ethics when commenting a game. And we came to the conclusion that they do their job rather well and that although some of them are sometimes biased, it comes not even close to the french commentators' outright chauvinism whenever "L'Équipe de France" is playing.
