    Well... It's all a bit worrying, to be honest. I mean, a big reason why United is willing to break the world transfer record for a CM right now is that there really aren't that many top CMs around.

    I think what we must not do is fall into the trap of trying to replace Pogba directly, by which I mean look for someone with the same characteristics he had. Such a player doesn't exist. If such a player existed, Man United could've just gone and snapped that guy up instead, for far less than they're paying for Pogba.

    What we need to do now is make a shrewd signing or two, sort of like we did in the summer of 2011 when we snapped up Vidal, who was not that well known, and we got him for a low fee. Someone who fits our new system(s) perfectly.

    I think we must forget about established names now (that's "Galliani style" anyway), and just work on identifying the right kind of player for us.
