My gut feel is that this new midfielder will be someone that is not on that list and someone we haven't even really spoken about. A bit like how Pjaca kind of popped out of nowhere.
I hope I`m wrong but I see us getting Witsel

What about Joao Mario? Do you guys rate him?
Inter kind of player sign for lots of cash and flop hard

I'd sign Herrera or Matic and snap up Diawara from under Roma's noses. One ready made CM and another who can grow into the first team and potentially be world class and worth a lot of money.

That would only be about €40m-€50m.

Our biggest hole right now is the vice-Marchisio. He's not back until near the winter break and there are no guarantees about his fitness or form.

Right now Allegri is using Hernanes in that role and it's clear Lemina is viewed as box to box judging by end of last season and this pre-season. Hernanes can't be a starter for us.

I agree. One ready made CM and another one with high potential would be ideal. Matic/Herrera & Bazoer/Diawara. Personally I'd go for Bazoer, but Diawara also a not a bad option.

Bazoer looks really good, although it's probably a riskier and more expensive move.

PSG said he's not available from TJ. I wouldn't mind Matuidi in addition to Herrera.
I don't watch Ligue 1 or PSG much but Matuidi is certainly a hardworking player and has the right ethic for a team like Juve. Absolutely nothing like Pogba, but he'd have a different team role. This year we have several other players who can create.

Won't be surprised if we go for a more straight jacketed guy who plays within himself. Matuidi, or Kante would've been ideal. I still think despite PsGs press, that Raiola can make this move happen if Juve want it, though Matic and Herrera combos top my list.
