Needs to be a lot more resolute, doesn't feel convincing whenever he leaves the line. Like he questions every decision he takes instead of relying on instinct.
He is too short to be effective coming off line. Imo he should not be long term solution. He is good shot stopper but his lack of height will always be detrimental when dealing with aerial threats.

He's 6'2", only 5cm shorter than Buffon. That's not an NBA-style height recording either, if you see him in a team photo next to Gatti and Thuram you can see he is that height. He's a bit hunched. I also don't think Perin looks his height.

I agree that he's not convincing aerially aroud his box. I don't think he's that sort of keeper, but also, the chopping and changing around our defence never helps keepers in that regard.

5 cm is a lot. Would be interesting too know his arms length. So it could be more than 5 cm when dealing with crosses. He is too heavy which affects his jumping as well.

Arm length is an interesting one but not sure how he's too heavy, theres nothing to him. I just don't think he's the sort of keeper who comes out a lot, which I'm not a fan of.

His upper part of the body is to bulky. His weight is not evenly distrubuted and I think it affects his jumping. Either way I dont see him as long term solution. In a way reminds me of Peruzzi, quality keeper but for sides like Lazio or Roma.

Could he have done better on that cross? Suzuki was catching every cross today, pretty sure he would read the situation and gather that cross.

Not for his style of keeper, as it's heavily outswinging from a deep position. Other keepers start from further out and might coming flying out with a punch, but you aren't expected to catch that type of cross. He always has a defensive first position, I doubt that's going to change.

We're not in the business of hiring a top-notch goalkeeper, We first have to spend to cover other spots which is vulnerable and we don't have a proper alternative or backup. Other departments of team still needed to be rebuild. Goalkeeper is the last priority.
I agree with the rankings that illustrated below. But despite the price and salary they are either old or out of our reach(due to contracts)
