Bonucci did not fulfill his expectations and his price of 15mln euros. I do like him, but he did not show much and he was fragile many times, especially when he's left out alone. I do think he needs time to settle, just like Silva needed it. But I don't think two giants like Chiellini and himself will ever be able to make a positive duo.

As for your opinion about Ziegler, I'll leave it at that. To say he's spectacular is enough for me to avoid any discussion whatsoever about him. Not that you're biased, but I can't believe with my own eyes what you're typing.

I personally don't see him as our starting LB. I think we're planing to play Bastos as our LB and even though it's not his best position,I'd be pretty satisfied with that to be honest. If Barcelona can play with Dani Alves as their RB I don't see why we can't play Bastos there.

My added expectations? If we pay so much money for a player then he has to prove his worth to the club, and fans. He was decent, but he was far from being great. I can't blame him much since our whole defense played like shit, but he was not shining individually either.

Him and Chiellini are clumsy and they lack brain to lead defense. Both are technically weak and weak on the ground against fast players, especially Bonucci... especially if it's one on one.

We don't play a high defensive line like Bartha most of the time, so playing Bastos as our LB is a waste.
