what Juvejay said, he would be to isolated.
players like matri are technically to limited to play there, it takes a complete forward like shevshenko was to do well.
Or you got players like trezeguet or inzaghi who are so deadly with positioning and reactions, that you just have to mark them. and even then they will still score most of the time.

matri works best with an SS close.


I would say, get aguero SS and make him drop down, when needed, as trequertista. like del piero used to.
with two good flanks, and matri up front we'd be quite good.

thing is, we'd have 2 CM's, and altho pirlo would be a blast for passing and stuff, i'm afraid he wouldnt cut it defensively so we'd play inler-melo

but then they got pirlo so i'm certain they dont have the same idea as i do :-/

no, he is to technically limited, and doesnt have supreme positioning and reactions, nor is physically imposing
