Fabrizio Miccoli has declared that he is ready to serve Juventus next season at the request of new boss Claudio Ranieri.

The 27-year-old’s future was in some doubt after spending the last two campaigns on loan at Benfica.

However, Ranieri yesterday revealed that he wants the Italian international at his disposal during 2007-08 – much to the delight of the ‘Romario del Salento’.

“If they want to keep me then I will happily accept,” noted the pint-sized striker. “I am a bit tired of travelling back and forth.

“I would like to stop moving around. I will turn 28 shortly and I would like to stay with the same outfit for three or four years,” continued the former Perugia man.

“Ranieri is a great tactician and he proved it with Parma. What can I say? I am available for him and Juventus.”

The attacker has been recently paired with Palermo and Napoli, although he has received no firm offers so far.

“I know nothing about this,” he added. “I can only say that I am interested in Juventus, otherwise I would have never renewed my contract until 2010 last year.”

The player joined the Bianconeri in 2003, but his Turin stint turned problematic once Fabio Capello was appointed as boss a year later.

He then moved to Fiorentina in 2004 on loan, scoring 12 goals in Serie A, before transferring to Portugal in 2005.

He is by far one of the most wasted talents that Juventus had in their possession. Shoots well with both feet, is speedy, can dribble, is not selfish, can cross, can take free kicks, he is very versatile and can play as an out an out striker or a forward behind the strikers. He could have been a top scorer, a class forward, and a national team player as well...

Bienvenuti per il Romario del Salento!! :touched:

BOTTOM LINE:

Bring him back!
