If Miccoli stays with us that would mean we are completed our "striking force". We gonna have Alex, Iaquinta, Miccoli, Palladino and probably Zalayeta. I have no idea who will be starter since they are all similiar players except Zalayeta. And about Maresca, he's a good player but is he the one who we really need? It seems that we are getting all the players Moggi get rid and sellin everything Moggi bought :disagree:
Right!
Which seems to lead to a disaster.
Moggi knows best who to buy and who to sell.
He got and idea for a right shape in a right time of a team.
This is something like a betting. And it seems ,lets try to buy this player. If we succeed than we will have this shape of team and if we fail to bring that player, welll . . . . ,we will look for another.
Stupid.

So change topic title to

Iaquinta : Yes, Miccoli & Maresca return!

this would be simply superb.. I would forgive the managment for all its faults, if they buy enzo back :weee:

Ranieri recalls Miccoli
Tuesday 12 June, 2007
Claudio Ranieri has called for Fabrizio Miccoli’s return to Juventus after his spells with Fiorentina and Benfica.

The former Perugia starlet was never expected to wear the Bianconeri jersey again following his public disagreement with the club, but the new Coach has transformed the situation.

“He is a striker we like very much and I am counting on him for next season,” confirmed Ranieri.

“The time spent in Portugal helped him in a time when Juve did not need his services. We have signed Vincenzo Iaquinta and I hope to count on Miccoli’s qualities as well.”

The 28-year-old ‘Romario del Salento’ has been at Benfica since 2005 and impressed in the Champions League for the Portuguese club.

His loan spell was set to be renewed, but Ranieri has made it clear he would make good use of Miccoli at the new Juventus.

“During his time at Juve, Fabrizio never had a problem with the directors,” added agent Francesco Caliandro on ‘Radio Radio.’

“The only issue was when Juventus and Fiorentina discussed his future. I will stop there. Suffice to say the problems were not between Miccoli and the Bianconeri directors.”

Oooooff!! Then we can have Maresca, Almiron as CMF and creative. Mavuba and C.Zanetti as DMF and destructive. And we will have Miccoli and Del Piero as magical midgets, and Huntelaar and Iaquinta as big long goalscorers :D

Trezequet,Zalayeta,Bojinov and maybe even Palla (on loan) might leave us,
if any we are running short of attackers,
they are not in abundance.

My thoughts:

Iaquinta will Replace Zalayeta
Miccoli will Replace Bojinov
Huntelaar or another high class finisher will replace Trezeqoal,
Palla might stay too (i hope)

as i can remember miccoli is a very skillful and talented goal scorer...he showed that he can score by his performances in the Portugese league and if we're getting him without paying anything i cant see why ppl are complaining...

check out this clip;

Like I said if we are going to keep Miccoli at Juve and if we bought Iaquinta than we are finished with shopping for the fornt line. It's really insane to think that Iaquinta will be Zala's replacement. He is starter at Udine and he is not that stupid to leave them to be replacement for the fifth striker. He will be our rotation (even I think he will be more than that, probably first team player) player and he will have a plenty of chances to play. Only if Zala, Trez and Boji leaves we should expect another signing for the attacking department and that would be probably some kinda of Zala type of player or youngester IMO.

This recalling of Miccoli paints a very dark picture in terms of our expectations regarding the Hunter coming. I'm thinkin the only way we r getting another striker is if Iaquinta is intended to play more on the right side of midfield as he did for the Azzuri

I really hope this doesn't mean Huntelaar isn't coming. He's the one player we're linked with that I really really want to see in a juve shirt
