I like the sound of 4-3-3 but only because it may bring beauty in our game. I still cant figure it out how could a potential Miccoli-Iaquinta-Del Piero work though.
Like Andy said, we can't use our main force from last years properly , the wingers Nedved and Camoranesi.
And even if we take that risk, like Lippi did against Germany, we'll have these situations :
Miccoli-Del Piero-Iaquinta
Nedved-Almiron-Camoranesi
We;ll have a lot of pace up front with Micolli and Iaquinta on the sides. But the problem is the striker, in this case Del Piero who cant play this role successfuly.
If we change the forwards trio to : Del Piero-Miccoli-Iaquinta, we have even bigger problem because we're losing speed on the left side and we're getting even worst player as our striker.
If it goes Miccoli-Iaquinta-Del Piero , then it's more solid but we're losing Iaquinta where he can perhaps be more useful and we're practically replacing Trezeguet with Iaquinta. Why should we directly replace Trezeguet with Iaquinta ?
Maybe the best solution if we want 4-3-3 could be : Del Piero-Trezeguet-Iaquinta, but i cant see this happening.
