Pipita is a choker?! :howler:

the dude scored the most vital goals in Madrid's title-winning charges, hell he's regarded as the 'clutch' scorer for them...

Maybe this is me being biased but as an attacking threat I think apart from Barcelona, Valencia have the best front quadrant.

Apart from Higuain, Ronaldo, Alonso and Ramos I find it hard pressed to think that team is worthy of winning La Liga let alone the Champions League.
I find it hard pressed to think of any European teams who have better squads. The fact that they're not utilizing their squad as well as they should does not mean they have a poor squad.

Kaka, Ronaldo, Higuain, Alonso, Lass Diarra, M.Diarra, S.Ramos and Casillas would start for almost every team in the world.

Theres a reason both Chelsea and Arsenal deemed Lass surplus to requirements.

He does extremely well against the smaller teams, in fact Real probably won't be where they are in the table if it wasn't for him. But throughout his career in Real up until now(this could change of course as he's still young). he has failed to step up against the top tier of teams.

you'll have to come up with better evidence than that Fred, 'cos last time I checked, his goal was the difference in the Madrid derby we had last week.

This team has greatly underachieved and when you look at how certain players have played for them this season then yes they have equated to having a very poor season.
I would argue that Real Madrid have overachieved in La Liga this season.

To compete immediately with this Barca side when trying to form a team out of a bunch of new signings is pretty good in my book.

Obviously, they fucked up in the CL.

Chelsea had Essien and Makelele at the time so Chelsea were perfectly excused there. As for Arsenal, it was one of the biggest mistakes ever on our part not to give him a chance. I do believe Arsene was going to play him eventually, but Flamini was in insane form at that time and he had a great understanding with Cesc in the center of midfield. So he couldn't drop him, Lass had enough and wanted to play so he insisted on leaving after only half a season.

Needless to say he was great for Portsmouth and has been really good for Real most of the time. Up until January, Lass was actually one of Reals most consistent players.

I did say top tier teams. Athletico have one of the worst defenses ever, its not much of an achievment to score against them. Games like the two against Lyon and the two against Barcelona this season, all four of those games Higuain was completely invisible.
