I just read the comments, and they were indeed made in this thread. Erkka made most of the comments and posted the pic of the "leading Juventino." Not sure if I can believe that.

Some guy named The Urchins is one the forum, and he is a Liverppol fan. He was the guy to raise suspicion about this tie a few months ago.

Hmm I wonder if he is the author of the article...

WOW. Anyone seen this:

The article is refering to this thread, amazing what kind of attention we get here.

From the article:

"Menacing postings on Italian football websites included one which read: “Now it is Liverpool’s turn to be shot.”

Another said it would be “sick” to lose to the English club.

One Juventus supporter posted a picture of masked Italian hooligans, including a young man wielding a metal pipe, and wrote: “The boy with the pipe is one of the leading supporters (of Juventus) nowadays.

“Don’t expect him to shake hands with ’Pool fans. Violence will occur, I’m sure of it.”

Referring to the picture another Juventus supporter said: “I’m proud of him.”
WOW.. i read this today... omg.. and azzurri7 said the thing abot being proud of him.. thats what i remember!

In all honesty, I don't think Liverpool is going to be that easy. Sure they don't have their best player in Morientes, but is our midfield able to stop Steven Gerrard?

I know a lot of you guys don't like the EPL very much, but it's wrong to underestimate Liverpool. They aren't playing a great season, but it's one of those opponents that disturb Juve's way of playing. Real for an example doesn't. We will always have it rough against English teams.
as i said up there, if we just take care of Steven, then i can see L'Pool OFF!

Great, I was extremely happy when we got 'pool.

IMO, we have a decent chance. Actually, this is how I see the the clubs' chances:

Liverpool 35 - 65 Juventus

Milan 55 - 45 Inter

Lyon 75 - 25 PSV

Chelsea 45 - 55 Bayern

Yes, you read right, I give Bayern a bigger chance to progress to the Semi's and IMO Bayern will kick Chelski out.
Amen, Bayern will kick Chelsea out..

and alonso
Alonso will 99% be out for the first leg, and even if he recovers for the second leg, he won't be fully match-fit and they'll probably just use him out of desperation
