Damn! Almost a perfect draw, but y in the same division side with Chelsea?!! NOw all I can think about is that hopefully, kovac or Koffour or Lucio injures Robben, and add Duff too. Then may be we'll have a chance.

I think we'll get past Liverpool quite easily, they don't play very good football, n Dudek's been messin up recently.

As to the other games, I'd like to see Inter n Lyon win, coz then the semi finals would be Hell Of A GAME!! Value for ur Money! I Really hope this comes true!

surely it wont be easy, it never is (well, mostly). but pool aint man utd or arsenal. they just dont have enough strenght to contain juventus. but i can see us losing, that's if we underestimate them. i can see somewhat surprising 2-0 or 3-1 away loss and then 1-0 at home. but if we play like we should, there shouldnt be many problems. they just wont score through out defence.
It's clear that based on talent we should go through. But it's only fair to say that based on talent Madrid should have gone through as well. It's not that I'm impressed by Liverpool this season, it's that I can't recall Juventus playing well against a team like Liverpool. IMO we will go through, but it will be a lot tighter than people seem to believe around here.

Great, I was extremely happy when we got 'pool.

IMO, we have a decent chance. Actually, this is how I see the the clubs' chances:

Liverpool 35 - 65 Juventus

Milan 55 - 45 Inter

Lyon 75 - 25 PSV

Chelsea 45 - 55 Bayern

Yes, you read right, I give Bayern a bigger chance to progress to the Semi's and IMO Bayern will kick Chelski out.

BLASI stops gerard
CANNA stops baros
THURAM stops morientes
EMO holds the midfield
dudek makes same mistake like in the first leverkusen game
And were through to semis;)
morientes does not play , he is cup-tied I think

Wouldnt you rather Juve face Chelsea? I dont know about anyone else but I always want to draw the best teams, who gives a shit about winning it. Better to knock out Juve, Real and such than srape your way into a final and win. Better memories I think.

I guess you raise a good point. However we have already beaten Bayern twice this season while I'm not sure what to expect with Chelsea.

True point. That's why our 2002-2003 campaign was so great IMO.

WOW. Anyone seen this:

http://news.scotsman.com/latest.cfm?id=4281392

The article is refering to this thread, amazing what kind of attention we get here.

From the article:

"Menacing postings on Italian football websites included one which read: “Now it is Liverpool’s turn to be shot.”

Another said it would be “sick” to lose to the English club.

One Juventus supporter posted a picture of masked Italian hooligans, including a young man wielding a metal pipe, and wrote: “The boy with the pipe is one of the leading supporters (of Juventus) nowadays.

“Don’t expect him to shake hands with ’Pool fans. Violence will occur, I’m sure of it.”

Referring to the picture another Juventus supporter said: “I’m proud of him.”

Talk about retarded. RIP to those who lost their lives. The 20 year anniversary is a good opportunity to reflect back and patch things up/move forward. It's been an entire generation that can learn from and avoid the wrongs of the past.

We were eventually going to play Liverpool again ... now is as good a time as any to put that all behind for everyone's sake.

Worthless people.

there wont be trouble at the game though, security will be tight.
Concert Square is a spot to avoid though that night.

As for the game in Italy, who knows.
