First thoughts: Always predicted we'd get Liverpool, so no surprises there. But i think it'll be quite an intriguing match up. Furthermore, i dont think its right for Juve to underestimate the squad from Liverpool, because they could upset us in the first leg, if we dont pay careful attention. However, we're playing the second leg in Turin, and i expect this one to turn in our favour on that count.

I have been a lifelong Liverpool fan, but Juve are my number 1 team (and have been for over a decade) - I always wondered how I would feel if they met each other in serious competition.
So the match will be strange for me.
To be honest, I think Liverpool are extremely poor this season, and player for player Juve wipe the floor with them. The only thing in Liverpool's favour is the Anfield crowd - the atmosphere could raise their game. But Juve are professional and can cope with this I'm sure.
Anyway, let's hope for a Juve victory.
And for some reason, the prospect of meeting Chelsea doesn't worry me half as much as meeting Madrid - Chelsea are a lot like Juve, solid but not spectacular. It would be a tight game, but one well within Juve's capabilities of winning.

PARRY: THEY DON'T COME MUCH BIGGER THAN JUVE

Liverpool Chief Executive Rick Parry reflected on the Champions League draw that has pitted the Reds against Juventus and admitted it doesn't come much bigger.
Parry, speaking from UEFA headquarters in Nyon where the draw took place earlier today, admits he's excited at the prospect of taking on such a formidable European force as Juve in the last eight.
He said: "They don't come much bigger, that's for sure. But obviously from our point of view it's great to be here and we'd take anybody at this stage.
"There are no easy games at this stage but they've got to be played sooner or later so why not now?
"We know what European nights are like at Anfield and they don't come any bigger than this one. It will be two fantastic occasions and it's really exciting."
On a more poignant note Parry was asked if the club would be doing anything to mark the first meeting between the two clubs since that ill-fated night in Brussels 20 year ago.
"Yes for sure," he replied. "There is a friendship between the clubs. It's quite a deep friendship and it's the same between the two sets of supporters. Of course, it's 20 years exactly since Heysel so yes we've already mentioned that.
"It is s something we will be giving thought to and I'm confident we will get that right. It's something we will think about very carefully and something we'll be talking to our supporters about. Juventus are doing the same and we will talk to them again next week."
