Telelombardia: Juventus have recruited the Portuguese leftback Vitorino Gabriel Pacheco Antunes from Pacos Ferreira.

According to Luca Cattani of the local tv channel Telelombardia Antunes, who has been exceptional for Portugal in the U21 EC and has a successful season with Pacos Ferreira, had been persuid by several big European clubs.

However, he's not expected to stay in Juventus; it seem's he'll be loaned out to a Serie B team. Vincenza might be that club due to their interest in the player back in January.

Antunes was picked to the U21 National Team from the U20 NT for the Euro and will also participate in the U20 World Cup later this year. He's described as quick, strong, and good in defense, and has a good foot.

Gazzetta dello Sport: According to Julio Cruz's agent, the player might be leaving Inter, and Juventus is one of the possible destinations. The others are Roma and Fiorentina, who presumebly won't be able to offer the same salary. An exchange could be on the cards as Ranieri likes Cruz. Camoranesi and the club are still not in an agreement, which is also true for Trezeguet.

Alessandro Birindelli could be on his way out. Red Bull Salzburg with Trapattoni in their management, are said to be very interested.

New name for the midfield: Porto's captain Lucho Gonzalez. Negotiations with Bordeux for Mavuba are on going. It seems the player already has an agreement with the club [Juve] and has gone on a vacation.

Bild: Nedved reveals in an intervew that Juve's interest in Van der Vaart is very real. Juve's bid lies around 12 million plus an unnamed player, HSV want 15 million.

Udinese want Nocerino as replacement for Pinzi if the latter leaves the club.

Juve is interested in Antunes, a little tresure of Portughese Under 21

Gabriel Pacheco Antunes, class 1987 (he got 20 years the 4 January)

Vicenza was the first team that asked for him but since the price too high for them, maybe there will be a co-property between Vicenza and Juve

Italian media reports that the campaign to convince Trez to stay by Juve is about be a success. It is Gigi Buffon and Alessandro Del Piero who've teamed up against the Juventus board of directors to make them realize what a great loss it would be to lose the French international. According to the media, he'll be offered a 4-year contract worth 4 million euro's per year until the 30th of June 2011.

Moreoever, Buffon is peckish for a new Scudetto. This is what he had to say about the up coming season:

"I would really like if Alex Del Piero and Pavel Nedved can play the way they have the last couple of seasons. We have no reason to fear any teams out there.

    Thanks for that Gigi!

:weee: It's seeming like Trez is staying :fingerscrossed:
