Sorry for bringing this late to you guys, but I was at work.

    June 14

Goal.com: The Dutch midfielder Rafael Van Der Vaart is of interest to Juventus. He plays for Hamburg currently and has had a good season. Juventus see Van Der Vaart as a long term replacement to Nedved. Marcelo Zalayeta will likely be loaned out to Livorno. He hasn't gotten as much playing time as he would have liked, and because there are rumours suggesting Cristiano Lucarelli will leave Livorno this summer, the team is interested in a replacement.

La Gazzetta Dello Sport: Juventus are on the look out for the Portuguese international, Tiago, who plays midfield for Olympique Lyonnais. Tiago himself says he's "fascinated by the Old Lady."

Is Van der Vaart as much a power house player as Nedved?

Sounds good about Tiago if he doesn't cost a bundlle.
naah VDV aint close to Neddy in that dept....more of a touch player more stylish as Dutch players usually are...Tiago hmmm can he boss our midfield??? not so sure...

    How old are you? :D

I'm almost finished with my 1st license. I got about 1.5 years left hopefully.

I'll ban you if you do it again.

Tuttosport: Juan Roman Riquelme, Boca Juniors, wouldn't mind playing in Italy.
-I like the idea of playing in Italy, he says.
However, the Argentine is owned by Villarreal and Juve would need to strike a deal with the Spanish side.

Corriere dello Sport: Exchange deal: Trezeguet for Gilberto Silva. Yes, that could happen if Arsenal coach Arsene Wenger were to decide. Trezeguet seems to be looking for a reunion with Henry, his old striking partner in Monaco.

The Sun: Deschamps interests Manchester City. The club which seems to have a problem with finding owners, is looking for a coach. Since Juve have taken Ranieri, DD kan be an option.

My translations are not as good as Zé's, but I thought I could share some of the work load. Unless he objects. :p

Are you that lazy? :D You could have just clicked on my profile and seen that i was 17. But my friend has been doing the course for at least 3 years I think. Now if I see him tonight i'll ask him how long he has left.
He has already flown solo from Malta to Sicily, and then to another place in Italy and back.

Damn, he started early then. I've flown solo from Maryland to New Jersey, and I was supposed to go to Delaware but then we had the summer holidays. But that's not as exciting as flying to Italy, you're friends extremely lucky ;) :)

Malta isnt far from Italy, like 120 km to Sicily. By catamaran it takes between 90 mins and 2 hours.

Like every project you start *cough* Goal of the month *cough*
I stopped doing it because people wouldn't follow the rules, it got really messy, and then other people started opening the thread so I assumed I didn't have the responsibility of it anymore. I have no problem with doing any of it, after all, all it takes are a couple of clicks.

    Ta dig.

Gazzetta dello Sport: Roberto Bettega, the only man left from the triade, leaves Juve. His contract has expired and will not be renewed. Ranieri, Secco and Blanc are now working hard on the transfer market with a budget of 63 million euros. Focus is on Milito, Tiago and Huntelaar.

If Trezeguet goes to Valencia (or some other club), Juve have the economy to replace him with a big name. Huntelaar andGilardino are the main targets, with Bianchi being a cheaper third choice.

Palermo want Miccoli, Sampdoria want Mirante and Boumsong has received and offer from Besiktas. Nocerino could be on his way back to Juve in exchange for the primavera players Riccardo Maniero and Simone Bentivoglio.

Corriere dello Sport: Inter are interested in Camoranesi again. Napoli and Siena are interested in Nocerino as well.

The newspaper thinks Ranieri will use a 4-2-3-1-formation, full of new acquisitions: Buffon - Grygera, Milito, Barzagli, Molinaro; Tiago, Almirón; Iaquinta, Del Piero, Nedved; Huntelaar.

RAI: Amedeo Carboni, sport's chief in Valencia, confirms the Trezeguet interest.

Juve and Man United fight over Quagliarella. The deal with Empoli is done - Almirón to Juve, Paro and Volpato will be co-owned and Giovinco is loaned to the Tuscan club.

Tuttosport: Secco has met Rino Foschi in Milano to discuss Barzagli. Palermo want 8 million plus Miccoli, who is valued at approximately 5 million. At the moment Juventus seem to want to keep the striker. According to Barzaglis agent the international defender would rather go to Viola.

Buffon asks Trezeguet to stay. Valencia are now also hunting Camoranesi. Apart from Barzagli, Zaccardo could also be someone for Juve. Juve have their eyes on two young Brazilians: Machado and Pacheco.
