We dont need Candreva and obviously none of the other midfielders we didnt got.
We obviouslyneed someone to rot on the bench, besides Piazenza.
This new guy is very versatile and he might get more chances than any of them would.

It was wiser not to invest more cash, on more mediocre subs and save up for quality players in the summer.
Decent subs, means cheaper starters in the summer => non WC again, hopefully we will make the big quality step forward this summer.
The scenery is now set and from this POV, this winter mercato was brilliant (except the Sorensen deal of course)

i think they should give Marrone more of a chance to play, if Conte really does have as much faith in him as he claims. Giaccherini can play MF in a pinch if needed as well. I understand the interest in nainggolan, as that would be quality, but not if the price is too much for anyone to swallow.


I wanted a LB this Mercato, that is what I wanted.

Agree with the Marrone part, and yes if Conte is praising him then hopefully that's a solid indicator of what the next few months will look like for him...more playing time with the first team and getting him in the middle and see if he sinks or swims.

This summer, I'd like a LB starter and a WC SS or ST...Nainggolan can be the 3rd buy for depth then sell Pazienza, Motta, Grosso & IQ (if they aren't by tomorrow).

Freeing up the wages like we have with selling Amauri & Toni thus far, selling the rest of the deadweight can give us some breathing room at the negotiating table with a top class player.
