ill try this at college on monday.does it work with other carbonated drinks too?
Not quite. Apparently Diet Coke (Coke Light) is the most preferred and then Coca Cola.

This is rehash of the old Coke and Pop Rocks bit from the 1980s. It's amazing how much popular culture eats this shit up ... even recycles it.

You take a fresh 2-liter bottle of any highly carbonated beverage under pressure and whip it at the pavement, and you are certain to get a reaction. ;)

Substitute Hyphy Juice if you live in the bay area.

I see even the elders are catching on :lol2:

I'm curious, are all the SF teens going dumb as well? I had always figured it was more of an east-bay thing :D

Btw, your new 'tar rules. :D

That said, while I cannot say with complete certainty as a heavily recruited future member of the AARP, SF teens don't seem to either a) know much about hyphy, and b) care.

But think about it. How are you supposed to go crazy stupid and ghostride your car when you can't even park it to wherever you're going? And Muni drivers? That's their normal driving state.

But I gotta say -- the streetcar sideshows here are just whack. ;)

That is a good point. The hyphy movement was designed for suburbia (and oakland, but thats just because its oakland and laws dont actually exist).

If you try and ghost ride the whip down the typical hillside street in the city, well, you better be faster than eto'o.

What started as a shitty little music movement in vallejo actually has significantly spread. Although my friends and i treat it as a joke, about 95% of youth culture has been completely absorbed by it from oakland to vallejo, and apparently it's picking up in so-cal as well :D

Oh, and on the point of the SF teens caring, I'm sure there's much more worthwhile shit to do all day in the city :D

But when I tell people at work about hyphy (and I have), I get these looks like, "How is this guy so plugged in to this stuff?!"

    You're my insider, Sebi.

    And you'd be wrong. :smoke:

Well, even if it's for marketing executives, at least my random knowledge has some application :D

There has to be somewhat more things to do, given that it's a major city. Do they have underage nightclubs there? Here, basically the only legitimate way to have fun as an under-18 is to stay at home and watch TV at night. All other forms of entertainment after 11 pm are basically illegal.
