He was great a few seasons and then started to decline really bad. Not the player that he was before. I give him credits for doing well in La Liga, but Premier League ain't for him anymore (even if he'll score a few goals now and then there).

I’d be okay with half of that being for performance and the other half being for a league title.

It doesnt really matter as we cant do anything about it.
Total cost would be lower than any other possible deal so Im ok with it.

Absolutely agree, I think it’s a great deal to be honest. The contract length is the main sticking point for me which the club seems to have got right.

Depay is a good enough quality player who will be reliable in two positions for the team. I think a major difference this year and the one which gives me hope is the number options that Max has to feasibly change up the first 11 or sub in to a match to change formation without sacrificing much quality.

There are CL clubs and then there are premier league clubs, half of them premdogs can afford him. Depends what motivates him but I see no reason to feel insecure. I think this done and just a matter of time.
