As much fun as these polls are, they're really tough to do without knowing who the coach is going to be. I still enjoyed doing it, with full admission that some of the guys I wanted/didn't want could be misguided.

Some coaches would make such good use of the "marginal" candidates, they'd be better pickups than some of the unrealistic ones.

For example, if we still had Ranieri, or pick up someone like him, he's stifle the hell out of some of the more creative types because they don't fit the rigid tactics.

It would be interesting to revisit these polls when we have a new permanent head coach (even if its Ciro himself).
