After directing a show-stopping display in Glasgow on Tuesday night, Antonio Conte was today congratulated in person by a man who knows more than a thing or two about producing spectacular entertainment.
Italian actor and film director Michele Placido, a staunch Bianconeri fan, is currently overseeing the production of Don Giovanni in Turin and took the opportunity to visit the club’s training headquarters whilst in Piedmont.
Placido, accompanied by Juventus CEO Giuseppe Marotta, was on the sidelines to watch the team put through their paces before being presented with a signed Andrea Pirlo shirt.
With the clock ticking down towards Saturday night’s showdown at the Stadio Olimpico, Juventus began their training session at 3pm and worked on several tactical scenarios designed to combat Roma in the capital.
Their final workout, scheduled for tomorrow afternoon, will be preceded by Conte’s pre-match press conference at Juventus Center. The manager is due to address the media at 2pm.
