Napoli boss Walter Mazzarri has expressed the importance of tomorrow’s game from a pre-match press conference held at the Stadio Olimpico.
The 50-year-old, who guided the Partenopei to an impressive Champions League run this season, is aiming to sign off the season with some silverware after the disappointment of failing to quality for next season’s top European competition.
“Juventus are still unbeaten and appear to be unbeatable,” he stated. “We’ll have to do something extraordinary, not put a foot wrong and have certain things go in our favour if we want to win tomorrow’s game.”
“However, I don’t think there are favourites from a psychological point of view. We regard this game as being extremely important, and I’m almost concerned that the pressure could be harmful.
“We’ve had a bit of experience in the Champions League and I hope it stands us in good stead for tomorrow. Adrenaline is what is required, not tension.”
