His family is very happy in Turin and he would like to stay. It is his eighth campaign with the Bianconeri and it’s difficult to find a player with his technique and work rate.

Not only was he hard working, technically he is/was one of the best players in Juve. IMO only DP has more technical ability, his touch on the ball was class. I was always a big fan of his.

Did you start watching him after the last injury? Camoranesi was traditionally one of the hardest working Juve players. Nedved and Molinaro aside, Camo was the hardest working player of them all.
And the most impactful when on the field the past 3 years

You do get a pay-as-you-play contract in pro football, Nedved was offered one last season
It isn't literally pay-as-you-play, though.

Say Nedved was on 50,000 per week under his old deal.

The so called pay-as-you-play deal would have been something like a 20,000 per week basic wage and 30,000 per gameplayed, or something along those lines.

And how did you come out with that conclusion?

Common sense/a knowledge of how things are sometimes done in Scotland.

Do you really think Camoranesi would stay at Juve to be paid nothing at all if he wasn't playing?

It would be downright disrespectful to even suggest such a thing.
