Dopo settimane passate a lamentarsi per essere sceso in Serie B e chiedere con puntualità la cessione a squadre che gli potessero permettere di giocare in Champions, Mauro German Camoranesi avrebbe cambiato idea: ora il centrocampista italo-argentino avrebbe deciso di non chiedere più il trasferimento a gennaio e di restare alla Juventus per tutta la stagione.
La decisione dell'Azzurro sarebbe maturata negli ultimi giorni. Da una parte Camoranesi ha verificato che la società era assolutamente decisa ad adottare con lui lo stesso "pugno di ferro" usato con David Trezeguet e che non l'avrebbe ceduto nella sessione invernale di mercato.
Dall'altra, lo stesso giocatore avrebbe capito che la squadra è in grado di tornare subito in Serie A - specie con la ventilata promessa del Coni di ridurre i punti di penalizzazione - ed essere protagonista già l'anno prossimo nel massimo campionato.
Così Camoranesi avrebbe deciso di cambiare idea e si sarebbe convinto a restare a Torino e lo avrebbe fatto sapere al direttore sportivo bianconero Alessio Secco, che, a sua volta, lo avrebbe comunicato al presidente Giovanni Cobolli Gigli.
Non sarebbe stato quindi un caso che sabato contro il Vicenza ma soprattutto martedì contro il Crotone, il centrocampista si sia messo completamente a disposizione del tecnico Didier Deschamps, scendendo in campo e mostrando subito le qualità che ne fanno un giocatore di categoria superiore.
""Non è stato un momento bello per Mauro ma ha dimostrato professionalità - ha dichiarato l'allenatore francese dopo la partita contro i veneti - Ha fatto vedere che era concentrato e che aveva voglia di fare bene".
A seguire, dopo il match di Crotone, è arrivato anche l'apprezzamento del presidente Giovanni Cobolli Gigli, che dietro i complimenti per la prestazione dell'Azzurro contro i calabresi ha "nascosto" anche quelli per il cambio di direzione sul suo futuro: "Sono estremamente contento per la prestazione di Camoranesi: ha giocato molto bene", ha detto il numero uno bianconero.
A questo punto, pare dunque che i club interessati a Camoranesi, dal Lione al West Ham - gli inglesi si sarebbero fatti sotto negli ultimi giorni con un'offerta da 5 milioni di sterline - dovranno mettersi il cuore in pace e rinunciare all'italo-argentino.
La situazione sembra così risolta, anche se resta da sciogliere l'ultimo dubbio, ovvero se questa sia una pace definitiva o una tregua momentanea per calmare le acque e tornare poi a gennaio, con la promozione della Juventus magari già molto vicina, a bussare alla porta bianconera per ottenere la cessione come "ricompensa" per il contributo dato, ipotesi che circola a Torino e che pare riguardare anche David Trezeguet. L'inizio del 2007 ci svelerà l'arcano.

Mauro Camoranesi has told Juventus that he will not be requesting a transfer when the January transfer window opens.
The Argentine-born midfielder made no secret of his desire to leave the Turin outfit after their demotion to Serie B and was allegedly eyeing a January move, according to recent statements released by his agent.
However, the World Cup winner has now changed his mind and looks set to remain until at least the end of the season, according to Tuttosport.
"In January I will not ask to be sold – I'm happy to stay here," declared Camoranesi, who confirmed his intention to the club’s sporting director Alessio Secco.
The player was eyed by Lyon and Valencia during the summer but Juve blocked his departure, much to his discontent.
Camoranesi was then booed by the Bianconeri faithful during their first few Serie B matches, but his performance on Tuesday against Crotone has drawn praise from Coach Didier Deschamps and chief Giovanni Cobolli Gigli.
“I was pleased to see Camoranesi play at his best, I think his attitude has changed in the past few days,” said the Bianconeri tactician.
“The supporters were not kind with him on Saturday when they booed him, but I think he reacted in the best possible way – on the pitch with his feet.”
“I’m satisfied with Camoranesi’s attitude, he played a fantastic game and showed what a class player he is,” insisted Cobolli Gigli.
Reports on Wednesday suggested that Premiership side West Ham were interested in netting the world champion and were ready to offer up to £5.7m in the New Year.
