Just leave Isla alone for some time....he has yet to prove his worth. We all keep mentioning the "second season syndrome" about certain players but why cant it be the other way arround for Isla? It was not his night against Milan. He sucked like all the other players, nothing was working. Yes, he sucked on a completely different level then the other players, but still, the SUndays' performance cant be used as a sign of Isla's ability or capacity or footballing knowledge.

Forza Isla. It took Platini, Zidane, and Nedved time to settle in, and Isla didn't come with the same level of expectation they did (and let's not forget his serious injury, which takes time to recover from). He'll be making doubters and haters eat humble pie by Christmas.

I remember saying once before with a particularly bad Jorge Martinez performance that he was playing like those guys in Space Jam who had their powers taken away by the aliens, well that is what springs to mind with Isla's 45 against Milan. I hope he touched the ball at the end of the game.

Pepe is solid, but still frustrating, limited, and unspectacular. Giaccherini is mediocre and terribly average; he might be likable and hard working, but nowhere near good enough to be anything but a bench option.
