That was Lazio's backup formation, majority of the time Licht played RB in 4 man defence.
He is clearly first and foremost a fullback, we have seen the whole of 2012 how he struggles with wingback role compared to the fullback one he absolutely excells in, less tasking offensive duty, and suited to his skillset off mainly just overlapping behind the winger and being good at exploiting that space, instead of being required to take on defenders higher up, using skills he barely has, like dribbling in closed down spaces etc. His best opportunities in wingback role usually comes from making off the ball runs in transistions/breaks and getting served by Pirlo.
