I didn't like his performance, his last pass is good, but he makes bad mistakes in the build up play, nearly cost us a stupid goal. Don't know about him!

Inter were offering a fair price for his half, but Juve didn't fancy selling since they couldn't sign a good replacement (Zuniga).

Correct me if I get it all wrong but how is Zuniga a replacement for Isla? Isla is a RWB/RM whereas Zuniga is a LWB/LM(and RWB/RM).

For LWB we have Asamoah, De Ceglie and Peluso whereas we have Lichsteiner, Isla and Padoin for RWB in the 352.

If we signed Zuniga he'd be playing LWB, a position I have never seen Isla occupy?

Zuniga only plays on the left for Napoli because they have Maggio on the right.

He is much better when he's played on the right and that is his natural position. You get a whole new dimension to his play on the right because you get him beating his man on the outside and putting in good crosses in a way that he can't/won't do when he'd have to cross with his weaker foot on the left.

If you look back at the way Marotta was talking, it's fairly apparent that the Isla to Inter deal and the Zuniga to Juve deal were linked.

But he's been a LWB for Napoli for the past couple of years now, right or left footed, I see your point and understand that this is how football usually works but being a right footed player on the left has advantages as well. Defensively perhaps more then offensively.

He did some good and some bad things during the game.

He can only get better considering he was out for an extended period due to a serious knee injury.

I'll give him a couple more months before making a decision.

If Juve have an obligation to pay Udinese 9.4m for Udinese's half and Inter not willing to take on that obligation then I dont agree Inter were offering a fair price for our half.
