Mattia Perin has decided: he wants to join Juventus. The player's agent Alessandro Lucci (also Cuadrado's) has reached an agreement with Juventus: 5-yr contract worth 2.5m euros per season. Now Juventus will enter into negotiations with Genoa. Fee expected to be around 15m. #GdS

We've gone down the route of having two strong starter-quality (in theory) keepers for a short while now. Perin will get better with age and is coming into the kind of stage where he should be very good. He is very good at his best and we can't do much better as a 2nd keeper. We're lucky this season, just as we have been before. Gone are the days when you back up a starter with a Chimenti, Rampulla or Belardi. We've had Storari, Neto and now Szczesny as #2 and that should continue. It just depends on price.
