MDS getting into some kind of form at this point for our RB role is nice to see. Him and Höwedes fit is important especially since MDS can actually cross too. At least that increases our odds of attacking from the right side.

Don't expect much from him but it doesn't have to be glamorous anyways. Long as he's not a total defensive liability he's an improvement over Licht.

Juventus full-back Mattia De Sciglio confessed he “didn’t even know how to celebrate” after scoring the first goal of his entire career.
It was a stunning strike too on the 173rd game of his career for club and country, unleashing a right-foot rocket from 20 metres out in the 3-0 victory over Crotone.
“Scoring that goal was an amazing feeling and I didn’t even know how to celebrate,” he told Sky Sport Italia.

“All my teammates ran towards me, including Gigi Buffon, who ran the entire length of the pitch to give me a hug. It was already an emotional moment, but seeing Buffon there all of a sudden just made it even better. A wonderful night.
“They also told me I now have to buy dinner for the whole team!”
De Sciglio left Milan over the summer, as he was often criticised by fans and accused of lacking determination.
“Maybe it’s because I’m a clean-cut kid, which is what people called me. I need another two or three scars, evidently. I’ve been working separately by myself for the last two years on top of usual training, as I believe hard work pays off in the end. I tried to stay calm and do what I know best.”
'Need another two or three more scars.." lol

Tries too hard to prove to everyone that he is a badass. SELL

90% of the reason he is here is due to his Italian nationality.

Please. We need to let lichsteiner and asamoah go, and then bring in one of those fullbacks from Man City.

surprised he has never scored a goal before, he has had a few long shots go close this season, glad he grabbed one finally,
i remember the Coppa final vs us, had 2-3 very good long distance shots when he cut inside from the left side, so its weird some of those never went it. looking forward to see more of them

Inverted fullbacks cutting in on their "strong" foot :tuttosport:

We should have tried that with Molinaro.
