Still, all the melodrama when we sold him...

They were making him out to be like Demiral with @zizinho leasing the chase.

Coincidently, they thought (still do?) we might sell a talent like Demiral

We can't say how he would've turned out without the injuries. He showed promise, but these things just happen sometimes. I hope he can get his career back on track, he has a good amount of years left still.
every time we have let go of these youngsters they turned out to be mediocre.

in recent times

Iago, sorensen, marrone, caldara, kean, coman just off the top of my head.

only immobile from the last 10 years turned out to be a top player....and that took him like 6 years to achieve after juve let him go permanently.

simply put juve keeps the good ones, and sells the not so good ones.

I'm not saying for us necessarily, just in general. You never want to see players in any sport have their careers ended due to injury.

Its not a personal failure of Caldara but it can be considered a failure of the club that signed him (and a victory for the one that sold him). Obviously how prone someone is to injury is very much taken into account when value transferring them at 40mil
