Good riddance, we don’t need players that are absurdly overpaid and no longer want to be here, even more so when their performances on the pitch have been largely underwhelming for most parts.
Let’s just hope we have a proper replacement lined up as it’s not as much him that needs to be replaced as it is the void left by Chiellini to whom De Ligt was supposed to be the first XI heir/replacement of and that we need to sort out as altough we already have one potentially good option in Gatti he is still largely unproven so in the end we will sure need a Pau Torres type or someone similar to bring some stability and guarantees to the back line, which i am sure the management is already working on.
