Not this one. He is a player already. As I said the things in question most with regards to 18 yo playing defensive positions - mentality - he has in abundance. Getting him next to our superstar CB's and in Seria A would accelerate his growth exponentially. Even at 60M he would cost us less than 5 mils a year amortization for a WC defender. And I am not even talking about resale value here which apart from him getting some off the field injury are :beppe: levels of profit.
Experience, concentration, physicality, confidence - lots of things I think are crucial for a CB and I don't think any 18yo CB could possibly guarantee. :D But yeah, surely the talent must be there if clubs are ready to splash

He's teached well how to tackle clean, but has balls like young Giorgio Chiellini,50mln. is pure deal for him..look John Stones...gosh!

Our backline must be rock solid, last decade we win because of great defenders,De Ligt is big thing..

quick math
- 60m
- 5 year contract
- 2m of salary (which is still a world record for any 18 year old defender)

yearly cost: 16m

he'd be our 4th most expensive player regarding yearly costs after higgy, costa and dybala

Pretty much, joined when I was 16 and bored out of my mind "working" a summer job in a hydraulics shop. :D

Was a fun summer for Juve though, Secco made some very questionable signings on the market and for a moment we thought this guy could be good :D

This guy seems two-footed but it doesn't make sense to have Caldara, Rugani and de Ligt all as RCB.

Nevermind Benatia.
Well Rugani could fetch some serious money I guess
We can sell Rugani and trade a youngster+money for him Im sure Ajax can find someone they like in here..

Matthijs de Ligt is very close to joining Juventus. He had a tour of Allianz Stadium & was impressed. Ajax wants €50m to sell him. Juventus will work with Raiola to lower their demands. [Premium Sport]
