look, i would have taken Gündogan, i actually like him a lot, but: his injury record isn't too good and he has only 1 year left on his contract, so €27m is quite a lot imo.
it's definitely a gamble worth taking...if you can afford it. we can't at the moment, because with Marchisio out we prolly aren't eager to bring in another injured player.

I think he fits the profile where Marotta is searching for, but this diamond isn't enough polished. He needs a lot of work and training before becoming Juve material. He can become it that's sure and as I said he fits the profile, but not for now I think. Besides that, ex-Interista ...

Yes for me. Kovacic is a decent talent. There's a reason Madrid bought him and Barcelona were in on him.
It's because he's more of a modern CM, Spanish style. Excellent technical ability, quick accurate short passing, good work rate. Versatile in midfield, can play any of the positions basically.
He's not necessarily "eclectic" like Pjanic. But he's a player you need if you want ball possession and build up.
For around 20M you could be looking at adding another building block to our long-term plans (considering he is already comfortable in Italy and Eastern Euro so likely not to run away at first chance).
