Wow two goals in what is it 6 games? How many does Berardi have in a team of similar stature?

It's gonna take more than two goals to convince me soule is top player material. We don't need players who hit the post twice as often as they score.

as soon as he frees himself from the plague bearer, he fulfills his potential.
If this is him fulfilling his potential we should definitely sell now.

And where did Allegri play him? ..as a wingback with defensive duties
yeah, unless we switch to 4-3-3 (which is unlikely), there's no point in bringing him back now. that would be a move that wouldn't benefit neither of the involved parties.

For years, every argie they court openly like this reject them, but they still insist.

How sad you have to be to court a barely known player like Soule, who only been in Italy for 3 years, to play for you in NT.
Well Retegui is the exception, all the more surprising in his case since his father is the Argentina ladies hockey coach and his sister also represents Argentina in the same sport

Retegui is the rare exception because he had no chance to be called up for Argentina.

While Soule tho barely anybody, is earmarked for Argentina NT, was called up and training with them while still in our youth team.

Not sure it's fair to say he had no chance, he was scoring goals for Tigre before earning a move to Genoa and is doing fairly well now, who knows if he was still uncapped he might be in the Argentina NT now, I feel he offers something different to the likes of Lautaro and Alvarez..

As for Soule he's probably looking at the likes of Di Maria, Messi who will retire in the next couple of years and even Dybala in terms of his injury problems and feels he has a better chance of being part of taking one of their roles.
