Since we have very little creativity, Kostic on the left in a 4-4-2, 4-2-3-1, or a 4-3-3 would be the best for us because he's a great runner and it would also benefit Vlahovic. Sure, Kostic defensively is fine but we got him for LW in a 4-3-3 based on Allegri's original plans. Same for Chiesa who spends too much time defending when he should be attacking more often if the formation were to allow it. 4 at the back lets both stay forward.
The 3-5-2 forces us to play this ultra-shit football because the LW and RW need to hold back and cover too often. It would be fine if we had a B2B in the middle or a playmaker, but we don't. Our pedestrian mids don't have the attacking credentials to be so effective so the wingers have to work overtime to help out, which is why I think Chiesa is always tired and only attacks in short bursts. Even a 4-5-1 would be an improvement on the 3-5-2 but Allegri's philosophy of trying to win each match 1-0 will forever bring us heartbreak against the likes of Sevilla.

Look at it this way, If you let a player like Skriniar go for free because you turned down 60 mill bid last summer to risk letting him go for free and replace him with a 33 year old Nacho Fernandez, not even Paratici or any sporting director I know is that stupid, but its ok apparently Beppe knows how to build a competitive team for the future apparently.

Beppe built a team at several clubs. At Juve he did it multiple times while mostly operating on a tight budget. Sampdoria before, now inter. 3 CL finals +8-9 titles, coppas is impressive feat and hes among the greatest GMs in the 21st century in football. But but Rincon, Hernanes... Jesus Christ.

It’s the nature of the role, they make lots of bets and decisions on players, staff, managers the question is on aggregate what is the outcome?
Its not the kind of role where success is measured on the basis of this transfer or that. Pirlo’s signing alone isn’t a marker of his work it’s the totality of his decisions over time and the results they yield.
His success at Juve is demonstrated by the titles and our increased stature and revenues year on year to the extent that Unibrow started dreaming about Ronaldo and CL titles.
His success at Inter is demonstrated by the titles and CL final they’re in now despite downsizing. He’s done it with different managers, different clubs, different ownership and different staff.
