I have not seen a proper through ball executed by our players in YEARS. No matter the coach, our players fail to do even the most primitive attacking moves, when the said moves are somehow pulled off, I always feel genuinely surprised. That's enough evidence for me.
I agree that we have been missing that as part of our arsenal for long. But Allegri has been our coach for 7 years out of the last 9. Sarri and Pirlo didnt get much time to really shape the team and squad to make significant changes. This team has been raped mentally, physically, technically and tactically for 7 years by this hyena (I liked that one!). And obviously Pirlo and Sarri are not really the greatest either, so I would not use them to generalize what changing the coach could bring us.

What worries me more is that we have had the exact same problems no matter the coach for AGES.
we have and a big part of the blame for that is the chaotic upper management team which equally has no direction or purpose.

I’m far from a Sarri fan but in his defence he was given 1 year and we signed absolutely no players that fitted in with his style. He was managing an Allegri team having to shoe horn Cristiano Ronaldo in.

Pirlo was a stupid appointment, not a single day of management experience and then given one of the biggest and toughest jobs in Europe. Actually in hindsight he did an immense job during a year where again we had no money and the stadiums were empty. Again he was only given 1 year..

Then there’s the return of the destroyer. He’s now had 2 years at the helm and I would say our playing style has regressed since he arrived. We’re certainly more solid, but we’ve sacrificed any kind of excitement in the final third.

Like we go for the wrong players we also keep going for the wrong managers. Modern football is high pressing based on attacking output, we need a manager in that mould to keep our fan base and progress as a club. You only have to scroll through this forum to see even the hardcore fans like us are getting absolutely fed up of these constant dull displays that result in 1-0 wins or losses

There were some beautiful teamplay goals between Higuain - Dybala - Ronaldo during Sarri.
Can't remember Pirlo since I missed a lot of matches.
But Allegri really makes the team impotent

With CL and CI crashes I hope that it's a given that Allegri will leave in the summer. We need someone with fresh ideas and enthusiasm to coach.

De Zerbi would be ideal, Italiano, Gasperini. Someone that can propose football, coach young players, win tough matches.

can't believe agnelli and cherubini gave him 4 year contract. way to undue 9 years of titles. lmao
Can't believe :
- that we had sporting director, clearly a drug addict, and who had his hands free to do anything
- that all of our biggest transfers were either sporting or financial failures: Bernardeski, Higuain, Ronaldo, DeLigt, Vlahovic. All
- that Bumnuci returned to the club with the captain's armband,
- that we extended Deshitto, rugani and alex sandro,
- that we recruited Allegri, an unemployed person that nobody wanted despite a falsified CV,
- that we recruited a cripple like Arthur who leads us into the "plusvalenza" trial...

This club has been crazy for years.

I don't understand. I just saw his wikipedia file, apparently this guy has won Serie A several times, Italian cups, Champions League finalist, and despite such a glowing CV, no one rushed to hire him and offer him a salary he deserves, apart from an obscure club in northern Italy. Why?
Have other clubs seen omissions on his CV? Did it go wrong during the job interview when he was asked about his football philosophy, he started peeing on himself and drooling ? I am looking for answers.
