If I had to think of the most negative thing a manager could do, it would probably be benching your best player for the sake of a rigid, defensive formation.

And that's what we have here at Juventus.

I don't want Allegri just out of JJ. I want him out of football completely.

To bad that Tek gave a goal away like that. And afterwards when we conceded so fast in the second half it gave me flashbacks to a year or so ago.

I think that we played good in the first half, second half it became more difficult but we didn’t lose our heads.

We should probably stop with 3 CBs, the run was nice but 8 goals against in two big Serie A matches are hard facts

I’m not going to complain. We’re literally a club in total chaos

This isn't necessarily the time to bash Max further but this first half has absolutely shown that the mental approach to games has been holding us back this whole time, and the fact it took a major crisis for him to get some ánimo from the players is telling.

I hope he keeps this approach we have now, because I'd like to see us do better under Max - but we should have been playing like this since ages ago and it's his fault we've not.
The difference after half time was clear and obvious.

Clearly his doing. So disappointing and deflating.

Game management on Sarri's level - his team also can't 'manage' results

As long as we played for it, Atalanta looked almost hopeless. Once we switch off, we concede like there's no tomorrow.

I'm not saying the second half would have been different in terms of mentality but you can't really judge it when 1 minute in we misplace a pass out of defence and concede a goal. The team the lost its head and conceded another straight after.

Any plans for the second half went out the window very quickly.

Really soft goals to concede unfortunately it is 8 in the last two games.

Whats going on off the pitch affects players as well. You cant just switch off when all the hard work you have done has been destroyed in a single day. This is far from normal situation we are finding ourselves in and it will require mental fortitude to put that behind and focus 100% on games.

We were robbed of a clear penalty as well.

Di Maria, Cuadrado, Sandro, Rabiot, Paredes all definitely gone after this season.

Possibly McKennie, Bonucci, Rugani, Gatti and De Sciglio not safe with Teks agent asking around seeing he'll be in the last year of his contract.

We played well today but how many games left before these players start to lose fight and motivation and start thinking about the next stage of their careers?

Even if we somehow do the unthinkable and make 4th spot what's to stop UEFA from coming in and banning us anyway.

We know that and the players certainly know that.

Think we just need to accept top 4 is out of reach unless we win the Europa League and UEFA leave us all which is a big ask.
