It feels like right before the pandemic again, where I had zero enthusiasm for games. Something needs to change. Either Allegri needs to adapt to the modern game or management needs to get him better players. Maybe both. Idk, but figure it out because I cant take too much more of this shit.

In what way? I've asked this question 3 times today and no one has actually explained how.

No, life is too short to waste several seasons expecting Allegri to 'work his magic', and that's no guarantee. Give him one more summer transfer window to work with. Scudetto and UCL quarter finals is the minimum expectation, otherwise he can gtfo like Sarri and Pirlo.
Defensively we're much better than at the start of the season. Especially visible in how much better we are able to limit the dangerous counter attacking opportunities of our opponents. Those 2vs2, 3vs3 or even 4vs4 situations have become much rarer. Usually at least one of our midfielders seems to be defensively on the right side of play when we turn the ball over. I'm personally very happy that I don't have to witness the situations where all our mids are out of position and are desperately trying to run back (if they are bothered) as regularly anymore.

The intensity of ur play has also improved at least to some degree. By that I mean how we challenge for second balls, the aforementioned running back to help the defence and how we at times move the ball faster.

Don't get me wrong, there's still a lot of room for improvement, but if you can't see the clear improvements we've already made then this seems like a pointless discussion. All those improvements have led to much more consistent results in the past 3-4 months.

maybe both. but we need better players first, that's a given.

i don't care about entertainment too much, i mean i can be perfectly entertained by a well organized team oozing grinta, but results surely won't come without dependable, quality players. i miss players like prime bbc, buffon, vidal, pirlo, marchisio, pjanic, lichtsteiner, even not completely burnt out alex sandro who could play 40+ matches per season without having more than a handful of bad ones. i'd take reliability over flair and fancy every time.

Same thing as them rating Xavi above Allegri because he’s had a good 6 month start to his coaching career lol.
give them the benefit of the doubt, i'm sure they followed xavi's previous oil team (=watched that vid on twitter on repeat when they are counter attacking against a shitty 3rd tier team like prime barcelona)

btw i have nothing against xavi, he was a very good choice for barcelona, he knows exactly what the club's identity is about. i heard sarri was the perfect candidate for us, just needed more time. :hihi:

Singus said Pirlo and xavi have higher ceiling in comparison to Allegri to win the champions League due to their training methods.
Allegri only taken us to two CL finals. And managed to have them both at 1-1 in the second half of each before we got beaten by superior teams. Very low ceiling to win it all. The lowest even. These guys think Cunte has a higher ceiling for winning CL tho, so :boh:

But we have improved, just not in a way that is acceptable to you.

Agnelli and co didn't bring Allegri back thinking he would train this team to become some kind pressing and attacking machine that dominates possession.
They followed his methods closely for five years and decided to bring him back so would be surprising if they didn't know what they were getting. Which is a manager that among many thing likes defensive solidity, direct attacks and control (with or without the ball).

We'll find out in the coming season(s) whether bringing him back was a good decision but you and the likes not understanding/approving his playing style is irrelevant in that evaluation. The trophies or the lack of trophies is going to be the determining factor.

Usually Lippi is on point, but man he keeps getting this one wrong. Tacdical wizards on tuz tell me that Allegri isn't a top coach, Lippi should take notes.

He's fellow colleague and Max did have his moments however I doubt he's capable of doing what Lippi did both at height of his success major trophies and downfall admitting when he was out of his depth.

We've been struggling to close out games and shit the bed with early leads regardless of the level of opponent we're facing. Nobody's asking for champaign football exactly, though he's smart enough to feed the media with us trying to play aesthetically pleasing at the stretch end is the reason for not getting the results.

Anyhow regards to ex coach/players comments what Marchisio said a while back was also interesting now that sounds like someone who still follows the team closely and tune in every week.

Part of the improvement is also due to the lower quality of teams we have been playing. We are getting points against the smallest teams.

You still need to win those games. Imo getting consistently good results against the smallest teams just shows how we have improved. We previously struggled to put together a good run of results and way too frequently lost or drew against those smaller teams, that seems to have changed now. We've easily been in league winning form in terms of results for the past 4 months or so.

This is true, and not winning against the top 4 teams is quite a disappointment this year. But I see it more as a coincidence, not some structural problem Max is facing due to his own flaws or something, generally speaking.

His fanboys won't see it, they will tell you that it was Ronaldo's departure that forced Allegri to play like this
asdasd.jpg

Or infamous 442 with Rabiot as left midfielder
asds.jpg

or infamous 442 with 4 central midfielders
sds.jpg

Or when they've put on semi-injured Chiesa and we lost him for a year

But he won 6 scudettis, you can't criticize him
