A draw away to this Milan is a good result but I can't help but be disappointed that we didn't go all out for the win against them and Napoli especially with Atalanta dropping points.

Our fate is in our own hands and the Juve of old would of smelt blood against that depleted Napoli side and took full advantage.

We really can't afford to drop to many more points and need to have an excellent second half of the season.

Last night was a good result.

We are not going to win the scudetto, but we do have a realistic chance of top 4. Allegri is playing the matches accordingly. There are posts here that talk about this like you guys didn't see Allegri win 6 scudettos. He knows what to do, when to push, when to hold, and how to climb the table. This is his thing and he is a master at it.

We went to Milan and got a point. We are now 9 matches unbeaten in Serie A (6 wins 3 draws). This is better form than our competition, we'll lose a match soon, but if we continue like this we will make CL spots and have a built a more solid foundation.

The team now plays together, defends well, and puts in intensity. We lost the supercup in the 120' minute but at least the team gave everything and rose to the occasion, that was a kind of performance that we had missed with Pirlo and Sarri. Ronaldo is gone, Chiesa is injured, we have a worse team than last year, yet we are playing better and changes are slowly showing.
Mate, we had no shots on their goal. This is not Juventus level. Their stadium had 5k fans, it's not even a proper away match. Our only possible outcomes were a 0-0 draw or a loss.

How are we playing better and changes slowly showing if we just finished a match with no chance of winning?

Dybala, Morty, your love McPotter, and Cuadrado all missed chances that should have been put on net. Morty’s was an easy goal for almost any striker not named Morty. And McPotter’s could easily have been a goal too. We had no shots on their goal because our players suck ass at putting their shots on target.

We played a poor match. You don’t have to make shit up to make it sound even worse.

You said our only possible outcomes were a loss or draw due to our tactics causing us to have zero shots. Which just isn’t true at all. It’s BS. Morty’s chance was the best of the match for either team. Not our tactics that caused him to fuck it up so badly. Nor was it tactics that caused McPotter to make a dog’s breakfast of another of the best chances of the match. Or fuck up multiple attacks with his garbage passing.

We played a poor match, and our tactics weren’t great, but the idea that we created nothing and scoring wasn’t a possibility is utter nonsense. Our players missing the net entirely from great positions is on them and them alone.

We had 0.35 xG which was the lowest of any team that played that day except Salernitana.

Giroud alone had 0.33xG on the FREE header he had that he passed back across goal. At least Morata was marked so he has an excuse.

McKennie misses a lot of chances but he also gets A LOT of chances when he's in the centre. So genius Allegri puts him on the flank. It's unthinkable. We have literally 2 CMs that can even put a ball on target and one is on the flank and one is protecting the CBs.

All this to maintain a nice, deep two banks of four to supply Morata who literally cannot be bothered to play right now. And then we blame Morata as if he wrote his own name on the sheet.

This coach takes a salary greater than the one we want to give Dybala and he makes no difference.

You turning into a Hydde level whiner :lol2:

We all understand that you die a little inside every time we don’t field a 4-3-3 and it hurt your heart that your 4-3-3 man Sarri sucked ass here and no coach wants to play Dybala as a false 9 because he goes invisible Casper mode when he plays 9.

Your latest obsession McPotter sucks at fulfilling his midfield responsibilities. Hence the reason he keeps getting moved into more attacking roles. He’s a defensive liability in the midfield with his appalling passing and poor positioning and shit tackling. You can’t have ~70 percent passers operating in your own half lol.

Morty doesn’t write his name on the team sheet? No shit. We have two CFs. They both are hot garbage right now. Dybala turns to garbage when he doesn’t have a CF to take CB’s focus off him. We need a proper CF who will actually get in the box and finish his chances. A replacement for Ronaldo and before him Higuain. We don’t have it yet.

Makes no difference? Lol. We’ve solidified our defence and organization, and we’ve been picking up points at an 80 pt pace since the disaster 4 game start. Clearly we need to work on our attack, but we’re far more solid than we were earlier in the season. Y’all just keep pretending losing one of the top goalscorers of all time means nothing lol

Sarri did suck ass. He had fucking pneumonia for training camp and the players quit on him literally halfway through the season because of his dog shit leadership and appalling personality. And he still won the league. :howler:

Allegri puts up 0 shots against Milan and is out of the UCL and he's doing great. :howler:

He takes a salary bigger than almost all our players :howler:

This. We shouldn't get used to mediocrity.

Yeah. Us Allegri throaters have said he’s doing great. Not that he’s started improving us and still needs to improve us further, especially in attack. Sure… there you go making shit up again.

And sure, dude. We didn’t have Ronaldo and his goals bailing Sarri out time and again. No difference at all. Lol

By the way, that xGoals site you just brought up has in 3rd place in xPoints entirely due to our attack not living up to its xGoals. I’m sure you only gonna use it when convenient though :baus:

Now go tell me who overperforms and underperforms their xG, even INSIDE the box. Dybala or Morata?

You mean Dybala playing with a CF/Ronaldo who occupied the CBs. Which has always been how he performs best. He literally gets bullied off the ball and disappears any time he’s alone up front. He’s not a lone striker, and we no longer have a goalscoring Wing/forward like Ronaldo.
