Imagine having throated Allegri hard for 3 years (his last season till now) and then he gets appointed again and proves to suck even harder than you did. Using excuses and more absurd defeatist statements than the chainsmoking bum   What a nightmare that must be. No wonder some people are going to the lengths of claiming that all our players are simply dogshit and that it has nothing to do with the coaching/training.

All the moaning about how bad 2018-19 was on Tuz when it was the last time we played CL QFs and actually knocked a top team out in Rof16. And still finished with 90 pts while going on summer vacation 5 rounds early. We didn’t lose for the first 27 rounds in Serie a that season lol
Champions league quarter finals should have been a minimum for us but we got humiliated by 8th place lyon and Porto despite having Ronaldo in the squad

I feel bad that you are going to spend the next couple years at a minimum whining and crying about Max as our manager. Sending positive thoughts your way.

Klopp at least have some attacking plan. Give mane salah and firmino to our mister and the result would probably be different.
Ahhh yes because Max showed how terrible an attack he creates when Higuain-Dybala-Mandzukic led team put in 86 goals in the league in 2017-18. I’m sure he wouldn’t be able to have any success at all with a frontline of Mane - Firmino - Salah :baus:

In these dark times, I seek some entertainment from it here, I guess we all do. Nothing much we can do, wait for Allegri maybe turning things around and start making sense, or Agnelli or Elkan swinging the the axe. Maybe we can get some excitement from the CL campaign, maybe we can sneak past a few opponents, then there would be something to get excited about again this season.

Good to see your optimism returning. This is our year in CL. :snoop:

Yeah I hated that season, it was so shit to win 28 league games by the end of April, win the league 4 rounds early and lose out in the CL qfs by a goal to an eventual finalist.

What a crappy season that was.

Something is wrong if you cant find a solution to make Dybala, Chiesa, Cuadrado, Morata and McKennie score.
You say that as if these players are prolific. All managers have struggled to make Dybala and Morata score regularly. If you look at Dybala’s history with us his goal scoring output is always inconsistent. Cuadrado is not a goal scorer. McKennie is a very very average midfielder - he’s no Vidal in terms of goal scoring, he may chip in with one or two but he’s not a player you rely on to find the net. Morata has never really been a regular goal scorer, he’s very streaky and when he is off form his droughts are like you see in the Sahara. Chiesa has been disappointing but like for like is scoring as many as he did at this point last season, he’s also been carrying repetitive injury’s all season.

Something is wrong precicely because we are relying on those players to provide goals. It’s clear we fucked up the Mercato with the lack of planning for Ronaldo leaving. It should have been that we sold him early or not at all

What about year before that final? Lost to real because of that prick of a goalkeeper karius and ramos almost killing salah. He controled that game until that happen.

No they were not controlling the game lol.

And if we are using such excuses, I can say it was 1-1 in our CL final before Mandzukic and Pjanic picked up knocks/little injuries and we fell apart. They weren’t our best players but they were the players who allowed us to play that formation so successfully. I can also say it was 1-1 in that CL final against Barcelona, we were controlling the game and pushing to score when Alves rugby tackled Pogba in the box for what should have been a clear penalty that would have gave us the lead with 20 minutes left. Instead Barca hit us minutes later on the counter.

Klopp got spanked by Madrid, just like we did. You can’t give excuses to one coach and not the other

I name 5 players, you pick 2 of them and make it sound like its some impossible task. And what with the other 3?

Its up to the manager in these situations. Start delivering Allegri
Mckennie, dude? He has 2 goals in the league just over 1/3 of the way through the season which puts him on pace for ~6. That would be his career best total lol

At least pick the players who are and have been regular goalscorers if you want to make this point. Not Mckennie and Cuadrado.

We signed Kean as Ronaldo replacement for 40 million euros that is my big problem with the management doesn't have any direction and project on what we need to do to restart the winning cycle
