He was eager to join us. Spent the entire day at us waiting for the approval on the last day of the mercato a couple years back, only to be disappointed. He then went to china iirc.

1,5 year contract of 3m tops.

Not expecting top mids or forwards in Jan or next summer..if witsel is the type we can only lure here then I'd rather bring back younger mids from loan and invest time in them and build for the future.

Is witsel going to make a real difference in our midfield? Is he better than what we have now?? Line ball call I reckon.

Allegri’s press conference

Lazio & Juventus are the two teams that divide trophies in the last 10 years
It’s a beautiful game with teams right behind the 4th spot
It’s the game right after the international break so we have to focus immediately
I didn’t see the South American players because they arrived a bit late.
When at 1:30pm I will meet the players I will take a decision who I will take with me at Rome
Dybala will try to train after a week he didn’t. He wants to be at disposal.
He has nothing serious but it can be dangerous. We will see.
We will have to be good when we have the ball because Lazio is good and Sarri is giving his identity to the team with technical players like SMS, Pedro and Luis Alberto and also in the back they are a bit more organised.

I don’t believe we have to think to much at the moment. We are at 4pts behind the 4th spot. We don’t have to speak to much but act with facts and this will happen with results. Looking step by step to improve in our offensive and defensive phase and especially the ranking. Vs Chelsea we will try to go for the first place in the group but we already reached our objective by qualifying.
Sarri won the last scudetto here at Juventus and he showed the results everywhere he went. Don’t ask me about what Sarri said “Juventus can’t be trained” because he was the one that said it, not me. For me, all teams are trainable.
Kean worked well and will be at disposal. Rabiot comes from a good game with France and also scored a goal. Like always when they come back from international break some are happy because they won, other not because they lost. It’s always like this
Calcio, according to me is an entertainment, art done by players. What we remember about calcio are the things done by players on the field. The coach needs to put the players that he has at his disposal in the best possible way to do great. But after all the talks the only important thing are the final results. We could speak about all the judgments about single games but the only thing that matter is the result.
Look at the Italian national team At the Euros nobody was betting on them and not even believing they would go through the group stages. Then only compliments and praised by everyone. Now, because of a missed penalty, that happens in football, it’s already a week that everyone is hating on them. We need balance, like in everything. But as I said, it’s only the result that matters.
But I know that when I’m saying this I receive a lot of hate. Everyone loves beautiful things on the pitch. Me as well. But there are a lot of ways to win.
Ramey… I need to check because yesterday he had a flexor strain and I need to check if he’s available….
De Sciglio is recuperating well and I hope he can be back after Chelsea or latest for the Salernitana game.
I will ask Chiesa to score. That’s the mission of strikers.
Sarri build Napoli after missing a striker. Maybe without Immobile he can do the same at Lazio, hopefully after the Juventus game.
Arthur is training well every time with a lot of enthusiasm and is totally recuperated.
Ramsey and Rabiot.. Rabiot before he had Covid did some good games and then after it needed time to come back.
Ramsey had some injury problems that took him away from playing.
Bernardeschi is out. For 15/20 games he will not be available. Hopefully he will be back at the same level as before.

Certain members' fav score was 4-2 last season. A month ago, it was 1-0. Then 4-2 again. And then 1-0 again.

Wonder when we'll see their new fav scoreline and what it'll be lol.
This sounds like you when you said Allegri is trash, and you are a big Sarri fan and he is the best Italian league coach, and then a few months later he was gonna win us CL according to you, and then a few months later you say you were never ever a Sarri fan, and then a few months later you say you have always been a big Allegri supporter. And then a few months later…

Must be the nootropics :boh:
