I think Rabiot continuing in that LM position is likely to continue.
He offers the ability to hold the ball up, gives the option of a direct aerial diagonal and the tactical flexibility to switch from a 4-3-3 in attack to a 4-4-2 without the ball.
Obvious flaws are it limits the attack down that side but also reduces the negative impact of his lack of a defensive urgency or awareness when he is ahead of the play in comparison to when he plays in the middle.

It’s all a trade off, but with the lack of technical ability in the middle of the park I think Allegri will value having an alternative out ball to the long ball in behind the back line for Morata to chase.

"The charasterics of Chiesa or Cuadrado are not the same as the ones of Rabiot obviously. That's why the team is asymmetric"
"We always had some difficulties on the left for a reason or other"

You cannot compare the different Juve teams over the years. This has its own characteristics, it must improve in technique, compactness and tranquility.
De Ligt? He’s 22 and young, when he came to Juve he was a different player, people said he’s the next Balon D’or winner, we need to calm down a little. He’s very young, a very good player, he may stay at Juve for many years.
Milan? It’s one of the most important matches, if not the most important, against a team that has been playing well for a year and a half. I have three doubts: one in defence, one in midfield and one striker. The important thing is that everyone is involved. One of the doubts is Chiesa, who on the right side of the pitch gives his best, but is growing and can still grow, in other areas of the pitch and in terms of match management.”

Its positive that its the side with Rabiot that is considered the asymmetric issue, and not the side having a type like Cuadrado and Chiesa. Its a bit surprising to hear Max say that though, as he used to field players like Matuidi and Mandzukic on the left wing (now Rabiot). And we also got rid of several natural wingers during his last tenure here.
I was convinced it was his tactical choice.

I keep thinking about the concept of introducing academy players to the senior team and i cant decide if it is always down to the coach or the quality of the youth players. I mean, you see Klopp, you see Guardiola and they always, and i mean always introduce youngsters who eventually turn into great players. Is it the youth system or are the coaches just more willing to give toungsters a chance? I mean, isnt there a single Juventus youth player worthy of getting at least 10 minutes per game ?

It’s both the players and the managers. But also the culture at the club and business model play a big role.

Effective counter, able to string passes together with speed, Sandro revitalized, Dybala with a world class half, Morty having an excellent game, given almost nothing away defensively.

Negatives have been a shit ref, Rabiot and Bentancur. These things could cost us but this could easily be 3-0 right now. The team was set up perfectly for this half.

Amazing what a difference having an actual coach in charge can make. Forza Maxx.

fuck Tici. Fuck Sarri

Let's not get ahead of ourselves but yes we are looking sharp. If we can play consistently like this throughout the whole season I can only dare to imagine how far we could go if he had some quality players on his roster
