@IlCapitano youre the only jabroni on earth that thinks Chiesa is better on the left.
No, I just know he is equally good on both sides.

Even if he was slightly better on the right, his play on the left is nowhere near what you're describing. He is amazing on either side and right now the only one who can play on the left. Make your peace with it already

Best would be in the center of 4-3-3 like free role. With his speed and stamina would go from one side to another.

His goal rate is almost double on the right side, how is that equally as good? And in theory its supposed to be easier to score from the left since he’s right footed. You make peace with it.

Nah

Last season 10 goals as RM, 7 as LM. 6 assists as LM, 3 as RM. Equal

And whenever you look at highlights and clips of his he looks equally good on both sides. Even if he is slightly better on the right playing on the left is hardly something terrible
And I don't have to make peace with anything because I am perfectly happy if he plays the rest of his career on the right. It's just that this notion how he's horrible on the left side is blatantly false and ridiculous. A player with his skill set and character cannot be horrible playing on his stronger foot cutting inside.

You’re looking at transfermrkt, a lot of those appearances where he allegedly started on the left, he actually was on the right. For example, Spezia game on March 2, where he scored a goal. Listed as a starter at LM on transfermrkt but spent no time there whatsoever. Benevento couple weeks later, same thing.

Here’s his heat map from that Spezia game

Anyways, that’s just one season. I used the sample of his whole career.

Morata
Chiesa - Dybala - Cuadrado
Locatelli - Arthur/Rabiot/Benta
Back 4 + GK

4-2-3-1 with double pivot. This is the formation that maximizes our resources, there is no need to make it more difficult. Unfortunately Allegri rather die than play 4 attacking players together. 3 is as far as he goes.

I dont know whether Chiesa will put in the defensive work required from this formation as we are one midfielder less and good sides will overrun our midfield

Chiesa, Cuadrado and Kulusevski are known for their work rate. It's just that Allegri is a coward when it comes to these things. He'd rather use Alex Sandro or Matuidi as LM/LW.

After the victory against Malmö the 4-4-2 could now stay. The formation will be a base, setting up in 4-4-2 out of possession but moving into a 3-5-2 when in possession. Chiesa playing as a second striker is more than an idea.(Gazzetta)
