Where in the hell am I making assumptions? That is all true above. All allegri did was win. He was removed by asshats because they wanted " beautiful calcio" now they realized he was right and brought him back to fix their mistakes. The choice of sarri and then an inexperienced pirlo was of arrogant management that thought they knew better

All of this is pure speculation. Who doesnt want a better midfield and better players, everyone does.
Allegri was amazing for us his first seasons. But towards the end, in his last 2 seasons, the play got somewhat worse and worse, and last season was terrible and he had lost the lockerroom and grip of everything. There was a general consensus among Juve fans that unfortunately, his time had come. Not everyone was of that opinion obviously, but a lot were. Its easy to forget that and look at his earlier seasons and amazing results. Especially after hiring two rookies. Those experiments couldnt possibly have turned out any different, no surprises there.

instead of investing in the squad to give Max what he needed to continue to win trophies the club made several poor decisions which were basically self sabotaging

firing a perennial winner to downgrade to Sarri and continue to make fruitless acquisitions like Ramsey, rabiot, etc was never going to work.

Yes, you would have made a fucking shitty call to hire a kid and a monkey. So lets talk about that and blame them for that. If Pirlo and Sarri were really our only options, then yes, it was a bad decision to fire Allegri back then, even tho he had lost control of things more or less, and it would be unknown whether he could turn it around over the summer.

Have u seen Allegri's interviews towards the end of season? Its pretty clear he wanted revolution back then, batch of new and younger players... It was end of a cycle and our managment messed up.

And he was not "fucking winning" in his last 1-2 seasons as you also claim. We came close but short of our main objectives towards the end, the CL. Sarri won the same that Allegri won in his last season. We rightfully fired Sarri, there also wasnt any progress in play or mentality.

Regarding transfers. There hasnt been any confirmed information about who Allegri might have wanted and that he was completely overruled. It would be absolutely ridiculous if our directors didnt seek advice on hires from our coach. His last season we bought a lot of wide players, but for some reason he opted to play a very narrow formation as far as I remember it, rendering our hires completely useless. I find it hard to believe the narrative that Allegri had absolutely no say in transfers, what would be the logic in that. Obviously at the end of all this, Allegri was frustrated at journalists, the club, everything, and was also throwing some players under the bus. At that point a revolution was suddenly needed. It wasnt the case before the season started.

Lets see what happens. It almost cant get any worse and after 2 years without a club he might have a lot of new ideas to bring to the table, also in Europe. It can also be a disadvantage, hard to tell. I think we will have a good season, challenging Inter till the very end and having a late run into the CL, if we buy a handful of gritty and smart players.

Last two seasons? Lol

Another dumb post. We had our highest point total (95), our most goals scored (86), our biggest goal differential (+62), smashed Milan 4-0 in Coppa final, and barely got knocked out on a 50/50 penalty after smashing eventual winners Madrid at the Bernabeu.

I agree he lost control in the second half of his very last season, and started getting in pissing matches with journalists, he looked burnt out, and probably Legitimately needed a break imo. I don’t even mind that we moved on after that season, even if I think we should have revamped and revitalized the team for him instead. It’s well documented he was asking for renewing the project in the midfield, etc for the two years post-Cardiff. We just made a colossal mistake choosing a stubborn old chainsmoking donkey loser to replace him.

But calling 2017-18 a bad season is just fucking stupid and enters Hist and Hydde level rubbish posting.

Also, Sarri’s season was obviously worse. Less points, worse goal differential, and earlier exit from CL against a worse team, costing us tens of millions in revenue.
