Allegri's mentor Galeone:

"Allegri was not backed by the club after the loss to Ajax in the Champions League. His fault is that he is not a Juventino. It would have been different with Marotta. I now see Allegri at PSG. No Italian club is at his level (other than Juve)."

In all seriousness, I am thankful for what Allegri has done. He’s the third best coach in Juventus history, and he has done a lot of good in his time here, even if it was clear by 2019 that it was time to go.

His best qualities:
- his tactical flexibility. Juve 2015 is almost unrecognizable from Juve 2017, different players in almost every position. He found a formation and style of play to maximize the potential of both teams.
- he changed our mentality in Europe. The 2-1 win against Real Madrid and our 3-0 win against Barcelona are two of my favourite games in this decade, as is the miracle comeback against Atletico. He turned us into genuine contenders in Europe.
