And that's stupid.
Allegri has set a really high benchmark for the next coach

So neither are better options so why did they fire Allegri , because he wanted massive changes and the directors didn't
Max Allegri feels betrayed by Nedved & Paratici, as they’ve been looking for a new coach for almost a month & were open to welcoming back Conte at the club however Agnelli doesn't want to hire Antonio again & would prefer to stick with Allegri. (Corsport)

My feeling the last few days was that it was already mutually decided that he would go, but the club wanted to know Allegri's opinion on who to sell, for the required plusvalenza, before letting him go.

A bit disappointing that he had to leave without winning the CL with Juve.

Clubs line up for Allegri
Football Italia

There are several clubs linked with Max Allegri after his Juventus exit was announced, including Galatasaray, Manchester United, Tottenham, Bayern Munich and PSG.

A statement released by Juve this morning confirmed that he would not be on their bench for the 2019-20 season, leaving a year before his contract was due to expire.

Several options have been mentioned for his future, including a return to the past with Milan, although that seems unlikely.

Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich are believed to be seeking new Coaches for next term after struggling in the Champions League.

Manchester United are starting to regret their decision to give the job permanently to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, so that role could open up again.

Tottenham Hotspur would be looking for a new Coach if Mauricio Pochettino were to leave, especially as Juventus are candidates for the Argentine’s signature.

Similarly, Inter have set their sights on Antonio Conte, but if he were to make the move back to Juventus, then Allegri could head to San Siro instead.

A new candidate is Galatasaray, an idea floated by Juve-focused reporter Andrea Montanari.

I guess it's no real surprise at this point but it is disappointing for me. I think we're looking at a change of direction but there are absolutely no guarantees, and it does make you wonder who was the more 'limiting' of the two parties.

I also said this time last year that he would leave by this summer, just putting that out there. And the fact I could put two and two together there means that players in the squad must have thought this too. It would explain some things.

But hey ho, we're going to sweep all before us with attacking football now so there is nothing to worry about. And if we don't win the scudetto we can always have the purism scudetto.

Thanks for everything, campione.
