You know people really are desperate when they need to make everything about Allegri. Allegri didn't coach tonight, it was Pool vs Barca. Kudos to Klopp and his team but what does it have to do with Allegri. Find a better thread to preach about your Klopp fanboism. This thread is reserved for our magnificent principal Allegri.

I'm never insecure love, just playing with your heart.

My favorite coach is always the one who sits on Juve's bench. Unless he is complete dufus like Del Neri and Ferrara. It might be shocking to some but I'm a Juventus fan, not a Klopp, Pep, Allegri, Messi or Ronaldo fan. I've been lucky that we've had such great coaches like Conte and Allegri for the past eight years. Easy to keep calm.

Allegri 4 days ago :
"Liverpool had three big scoring chances [against Barcelona], but Barcelona had four and scored three. Why? Because their players are of a higher level and make the difference in certain situations. Barcelona have players accustomed to that level and they proved it on the night, regardless of whether Liverpool had a good game or not. It's like a race. Everyone can run the first 900 metres but very few can run the final 100."

And klopp showed you it's not only about players.he destroyed Barca with fricking Origi upfront :lol3:

Dat coping mechanism didn't work.

Klopp > Allegri

Unquestionable
It will be unquestionable if he wins CL.

Klopp crab-walking on Allegri fanboys today.

Allegri is a great coach, just became ridiculously stubborn and inept last season and has gotten even worse this year...

I still think Allegri 14-17 was atleast on Klopp's level tho.

Klop is a very good manager because he has now made a monster out of two teams (Liverpool and Dortmund) when they were clearly inferior in status when he had taken over. Much better than Guardiola who ends up managing by far the best teams in each league.

When Conte came in 2011-14, he had 4-2-4 in mind but had to go with 3-5-2 mainly to protect Pirlo and to take advantage of the skills he and the squad possessed. Conte took a below average squad and organized a fierce team, look at that sorry bunch he had.. could max win serie A with that midfield? Pirlo would have been benched %100.
since conte, the quality of the players we signed went up, the quality of play has not. When you look at it max has had the same flat philosophy and style all along. Conte was the real problem solver not Allegri.

main/regular players of note

2011-12
Chielo, caceres,Boner, kelso,Barz, Licht
march, vidal,Pirlo (33), giach, krasic, padoin, giacherini

2012-2013( player addition per season)
pogba, isla, anelka, bendtner

2013-14
ogbonna, tevez, llorente

Allegri came in 2014 Inherited squad plus
Evra, sturaro,pereyra, Morata, coman

2015-16

Good to see that Euromaxx is finally telling the board they have to support his plan or he will leave.

There is no point in starting a new regime or in continuing to sign randos we think are good deals. Give Maxx a shot with squad actually built for his plans, if it fails horribly then he has nobody to blame and they should sack him.

Sorry ass midfield? MVP? Max literally won Serie A with that midfield (plus Pogba), with Pirlo and Vidal on heavy decline. Conte did an incredible job no two ways about it, but so did the management assembling that squad.

And nice little touch skipping through "important departures" during the 1st 3 summers of Maxes reign. Cuz we kept that amazing team from 2015 and kept adding talent to it :baus:

You name the important departures then or don't act slick, slick. When Conte had Pogba he was a nobody rookie, until he grew into a player for Max, I didn't mention that either...and he reinvented pirlos career...Vidal on decline? Guy is at Barca or are you going to bring up today's loss and blame it on Vidal somehow? Do I list ADP departure too at 37 YO? Lots of things I didn't mention that had little effect you mention what life changing departure I missed and let's see. What's obvious is obvious except for the oblivious.
Assembling? As with a purpose? Management did excellent on buisness aspect.. they didn't go out and buy from Conte wishlist. Conte was the genius who made it work which Allegri himself continued with his system until possible to make changes because that 352 was fine tuned and had a style and purpose.

2015: Tevez, Vidal, Pirlo
2016: Pogba, Morata, Evra
2017: Alves, Bonucci
Plus the Marchisio colapse half through 2015-16 season. Thats the entire mid thay went to the 15 CL final gone, our starting strikers, and half our defense of our 17 final. Conte never had to deal with those kind of departures.
2011-14 Vidal >>> 14-15 Vidal and any other Vidal. After the injury Conte plaued him into, he was never the same player again. Pirlo was amazing here but you can clearly see a drop in performance level in Contes last and Allegris 1st season. Pogba peaked under Allegri but he was a starter already before Max arrived
