Seriously the goals came one in the middle of defense and the other was on a mess of the whole situation blaming desciglio is ridiculous. Cancelo wouldn't have done better
I'm talking about Cancelo 's much better output in attack compared to ordinary Matteo.
Who cares how we conceded. Any Juve fan would've predicted we will get hammered on set pieces.

That's the problem we need to care and yes maybe cancelo would have helped a bit more going forward but between our midfield sucking and dybala on his knees more than a 5 dollar whore he wouldn't have made that much of a difference. The changes should have come earlier and berna should have been first for dybala at the 55 min

Agree with the attack. However, motivation plays a part, because it showed when we were 2-0 down and started to try to do something even though as you said we didn't know how to. I think Atletico are obsessed in playing the final at home. That itself is huge for them, maybe not as much as it was for us in 2014.

I must have spent most of the 2nd half thinking, what would simeone do with this Juve team, because I'm certain it would be a lot better than allegri. As i said in the Allegri thread tonight was the first time i've really come to think that he ought to go in the summer, I'm grateful for what he's done so far but when you have a wealth of talent up front and yet look so toothless and im not just basing it off tonight's match but evidently most of this season, I have very little sympathy for Allegri now

Said this million times The problem lies in not having any plan to move the ball and attack. And Allegri is responsible for this shit despite having one of the best attacks in Europe. It's so embarrassing watching us playing from back. Not a single correct ball movement through middle in entire 90 mins.

I need to get high to get over this shit.

Unless he pulls off a miracle, then he needs to leave end of season. Why end? Because his still good enough for serie A.

pretty much what I said, I have been suspecting this for some time now but tonight just proved it and frankly speaking thank you Allegri but you're not the man to win us the CL. Generally speaking I'm done with these pragmatic stubborn Italian managers before some idiot suggests we hire Simone Inzaghi or worse Sarri

He may perform a miracle in the home leg, but even so I think it's clear to see now he's not the man to win the CL. In the past I've blamed it on bad luck, injuries, poor refereeing etc... but I was embarrassed by that performance tonight and i think so did the 100 or so Juve fans in the pub I watched it in felt the same.

The miracle can happen but not because of him. There's no plan but attack the whole game AND don't stop after being up 3-0 for example.

Deep inside even you want Klopp to be our next manager :agree:

You watch a Klopp/Guardiola team and compare it to Juventus, the difference is staggering. The movement is just on another level.

It’s not like Liverpool have better players than us. The difference is the manager.

Allegri has some great qualities as a coach, but his time here is up IMO.

I'd take half of Liverpool's defence and midfield over our own right now

This isnt even so much about CL. His been 5 years here. Seems natural that time for a change. To refresh things. But if we dont react Zidane will be gone and there arent many alternatives.

Oh it's DEFINITELY about the CL.

We bought Ronaldo to win the damn thing and we go out in the knockouts. He got outclassed today. His team had no plan and absolutely zero ideas going forward.

Still gutted about the result and the predictable manner, even it ain't over yet, you get the feeling we won't win the CL for sure because of Allegri's inability to learn from his mistakes.

I've been on this train since the day he arrived. Since the day he got here I would go to bat for him against anyone here and do it without hesitation.

    Not anymore.

He fails to advance at home I could care less what happens in the league the guy has got to GO. Adios. Good luck in your future endeavors and congratulations on getting into the Italian Football Hall of Fame.

On paper we drop results against teams that can't even pay one of our players salaries. Frustrating.

I would rather go out 4-0 with an attacking team with guts than 0-0 with a team that "tries".

I know it's not technicallly over, but I'm getting real tired of all the disappointments year after year. We're stuck in an infinite loop.
